New safety valve PV 1108 DN 15 was developed solely on specifications stated by nuclear plant Dukovany. Development phase lasted 15 months starting in 2022 with clean sheet of paper and ending in 2023 with readiness to manufacture valve supported by all documentation required by nuclear standards. Valve is designed for safety class BT2, with stainless-steel construction, without any pressure-bearing weld connections. Variable inner construction makes safety valve usable both for gaseous and fluid media and also for explosive environment.
